StarTab is a Chrome extension that replaces your new tab page with a personal work dashboard. This policy explains how StarTab handles your data.
StarTab does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All information you enter — to-do notes, quick link configurations, theme preferences — is stored exclusively in your browser using Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your device.
tabs — Required to read your currently open browser tabs so StarTab can display them on the dashboard. Tab data is processed locally in real time and never stored or sent anywhere.
storage — Required to save your preferences (quick links, theme, to-do notes) locally in your browser.
StarTab does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is sent to any external server.
If this policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL.
